Custom Bike Trips
If you want to do a multi-day guided bike trip with us or if you
want to go to an area we don't have as a regular bike day trip,
give us a call! We've done scores of custom bike trips, all the way
from special half day guided bicycle tours to long distance trips of
over ten days. We've worked with group sizes from 2 to 80
people. Our home range for guided bike trips is from Carmel/Big Sur
through San Luis Obispo County and down to Santa Barbara, but we've
also done many custom bike trips in Napa/Sonoma and in the
Southwestern states (Utah, Arizona, New Mexico).
Because we know the area so well, we can coach you through your
options and put together a custom bike trip proposal for you in a
jiffy. The best way to get the ball rolling on a guided bicycle tour
designed to your exact specifications is to give us a call. You can

Here are some of the ways
we can put together a custom bike trip for you:
- We create an all inclusive package for you, including
accommodations and meals. This often works best for larger groups
and/or business groups interested in keeping things simple.
- We create a custom itinerary for you and run the activity portion,
but you book accommodations and restaurants (based on our
recommendations, if you would like). Our base cost for a day's worth
of custom activity is our daily charter fee, which starts at
$400-550 per day (to be split among the group). This is the option
many small groups (i.e. 2-6) choose if the group organizer can spend
the time to book hotel rooms.
- We book you on a series of day trips listed on our website and make
accommodation and meal recommendations. This is the least expensive
option for parties of two.
What bicycles do you provide with your
tours?
We feature Norco Performance Bikes. You have the choice of a hybrid
bike with upright handlebars or a road bike with drop (racing style)
handlebars. Both bikes are designed for efficient travel on the road
and have Shimano components. Both styles have a map case attached to
the handlebars and the hybrids also have a rear rack bag to store
gear. We stock a variety of frame sizes to fit your needs. Please
supply your desired bike type, height and pedal preference when you
reserve a trip so we can pick the appropriate bike for you.
