We had a lot of fun following the Amgen Tour of California bike race in 2006 and 2007. For 2008 we won't be doing a formal series of trips to follow the tour. Instead we are booking custom private tours for each booking party. This way you get to follow the stages you want in the way you want to do it. The queen stage of the 2008 tour is the stage four down the Big Sur Coast finishing in San Luis Obispo on February 21. Our custom private tour rates start at $400 per day for groups of 2-3 (lunch and bike rental not included). We are also offering all of our regular bicycle day trips during the Tour of California.
